An emerald and diamond ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the square-shape emerald line, within a rose-cut diamond surround, to the similarly-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. French assay marks. Weight 3.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resize. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Emeralds medium green, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Ring size P.
