BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An emerald and diamond pendant. Designed as an openwork triangular-shape panel set throughout with old-cut diamonds, with emerald bead detail, suspended from a curb-link chain with seed pearl spacers. Length of pendant 6.6cms. Length of chain 48cms. Weight 18gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Emerald medium green moderate to poor saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
