An emerald and diamond five-stone ring. The alternating rectangular-shape emerald and old-cut diamond line, between rose-cut diamond double spacers, to the scrolling gallery and tapered band. Estimated old-cut diamond weight 0.50ct, I-J colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Weight 3.5gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band slightly out of shape. All stones replacement. Claws and settings show evidence of alteration and repair. Settings at the ends more suited to a circular-shape stone. Emeralds medium yellowish-green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, some of which are surface reaching. One emerald shows chips to the edge Emeralds in good to fair overall condition with minor abrasions and some small nibbles. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds bright. One diamond has a surface penetrating inclusion across the table, which can be seen with the naked eye. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Approximate ring size P.
