BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An Edwardian silver swing handle dish of elongated oval form with beaded rim above vertical pierced sides, the openwork handle with applied patera motifs and the whole raised on a spread oval foot. Hallmarked Marples & Co., Sheffield 1905. Maximum length measures 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 17.95 ozt (558 grams).
The dish appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. Swing handle in good working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible. - Shipping Info
