An Edwardian silver novelty table lighter, the central globe with domed, hinged lid and gimbal support, and raised on a scrolled wirework base with single ball foot. Hallmarked Joseph Braham, London 1902. Maximum length measures 7 1/2 inches (19 cm).
The lighter appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. All hinged and moving parts appear in working order. The hallmarks are mostly clear and legible, maker's marks a little distorted but still legible. Also with corresponding part hallmarks.
