An Edwardian silver belt. Designed as a series of pierced silver panels depicting a lady riding a seahorse within a scrolling surround, to the similarly-designed buckle with seahorse and scrolling floral motif and later-applied Egyptian highlight. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1902. Length 70.3cms. Weight 140.3gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Egyptian motifs are later applied to buckle section.
