An Edwardian 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The slightly graduated oval- opal cabochons, with old-cut diamond trefoil spacers, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903. Weight 4.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Opals have cream body colour with good play-of-colour present presenting mainly red but also blue and green colours. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size T.
