An Edwardian 18ct gold diamond five-stone ring. Designed as a series of graduated old-cut diamonds, within an elongated claw setting. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Principal diamond estimated I-J colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Chester, 1905. Weight 4.4gms.
Overall condition good. Light surface scratches to band in keeping with general wear. Principal diamond bright, with surface chips, nicks to the girdle and light/dark inclusions scattered throughout. Principal diamond assessed within the limitations of the setting. Smaller diamonds also with noticeable light/dark inclusions. Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment. Ring size P1/2.
