An early twentieth century silver tortoiseshell jewellery or trinket box, the circular body with hinged cover inlaid with wreath decoration and opening to a material lined interior. Hallmarked London 1917. Maximum diameter 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the, age and use. Repair to one join on foot. Slight dent above another foot. Interior base loose. Hallmarks somewhat rubbed, maker's mark indistinct. - Shipping Info
