BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early twentieth century silver inkwell, the Neoclassical column form embellished with stylised figures, the detachable cover surmounted with urn and figural finial. Hallmarked Wakely & Wheeler, London 1911. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), gross silver weight 7.3 ozt (229 grams).
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Glass liner chipped. Would benefit from a clean and polish. - Shipping Info
