An early 20th century silver turquoise necklace. Designed as an alternating series of circular turquoise cabochon trefoil and single cabochon spacers, each to the knife-edge bar with bead highlight, suspended from a belcher-link chain. Length 45.5cms. Weight 7.8gms. With unassociated case.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Turquoise medium to dark green, discoloured due to age, well saturated, some with typical dark surface inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
