An early 20th century silver, enamel and reverse carved intaglio box. The pale blue guilloche enamel cylindrical box, to the similarly-enamel hinged lid with white enamel border, floral reverse-carved rock crystal centre and gilt detail. Enamel AF. Diameter 6.5cms. Weight 89.8gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Losses to white enamel on rims and guiilloche enamel to box at hinge, with further small chips and nicks, general slight surface abrasion. Rock crystal in good condition with minor abrasions. Diameter of rock crystal 2.9cms. Slight wear to mother-of-pearl reverse. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Stamped 17 to inside rim of lid.
