An early 20th century silver and gold, amethyst and diamond pendant. The oval-shape amethyst with rose-cut diamond floral inlay, to the similarly-cut diamond surround and surmount, suspended from a fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 47cms. Weight 15.7gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Possible replacement gems. Diamonds fairly well matched. Largest diamond to surmount with chip. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Amethyst is a medium purple hue, well saturated, with slight colour zoning and good clarity, typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
