BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century platinum sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire, within an old-cut diamond octagonal-shape double surround, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Weight 4gms. With associated case.
Overall condition good. Light surface scratches to surround in keeping with general wear. Sapphire is a possible replacement. Sapphire medium blue hue, well saturated with colour zoning. Some of the old-cut diamonds with surface nicks. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Ring size O.
