An early 20th century platinum diamond pendant. The old-cut diamond collet and single-cut diamond tapered surmount, suspended from a vari-cut diamond floral link and integral belcher-link back-chain. Principal diamond estimated weight 1.40cts, I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. Length of pendant 3.1cms. Maximum length of chain 56cms. Weight 6.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some areas of discolouration to the pendant in places. Scattered dark inclusions to the principal diamond easily visible with the unaided eye, the diamond is drawing some colour. Estimated total diamond outer weight 0.30ct. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The chain can be worn at various different lengths, there are six additional links to the chain where the clasps can be joined to.
