BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century platinum cultured pearl and diamond dress ring. The cultured pearl measuring, 5.9mms, within an openwork hexagonal surround, to the rose-cut diamond line highlights. Weight 3.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. some diamonds are possible replacements, evidence of repair can be seen to setting Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. cultured pearl is a creamy colour with rose and olive overtones. cultured pearl is a replacement.
