An early 20th century opal and diamond brooch. The circular opal cabochon spray, within an old-cut diamond geometric surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Length 3.5cms. Weight 7.9gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. white opals, not very well matched for colour. good play of colour, red, blue green hues can be seen Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
