An early 20th century Masonic 9ct gold enamel ring and a pair of late Victorian 9ct gold cufflinks. The ring designed as a red enamel St Georges cross, within a white enamel oval surround, to the Blue enamel initial shoulders, which reads' PDEP', together with a pair of late Victorian floral engraved cufflinks. Hallmarks for Chester, 1898 and Birmingham, 1919. Length of cufflink face 1.5cms. Weight 9.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Scratches to the cufflinks and areas of discolouration to the inner backings. Scratches visible to the enamel of the ring. For Masons who have attained high degrees, the initials P. D. E. P. are sometimes used, which stands for Pro Deo et Patria (For God and Country).
