An early 20th century gold seed and split pearl necklace. The front designed as three graduated split and seed pearl crescents, interspaced by graduated similarly-set split pearl star drops, to the integral belcher-link chain. One seed pearl deficient. Length 39.5. Weight 15.8gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Clasp in good order. One seed pearl deficient. Some split pearls are replacement. Seed and split pearls have a cream body colour and fair lustre. Seed pearls untested for natural colour origin. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Chain is a modern replacement.
