BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century gold foil-back garnet and split pearl clasp. Designed as five alternating foil-back garnet and split pearl lines. Length 3.3cms. Weight 10.6gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Split pearls are quite well matched. Some are replacements. Some have a minor blemished surface. Garnets medium purplish red, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Clasp in good working order. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
