An early 20th century gold fob watch. The cream dial with black Arabic numerals and gilt minute track, to the pave-set ruby and diamond reverse, suspended from an openwork brooch, with foliate ruby highlight. With French hallmarks. Length 7cms. Weight 16.4cms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimationIndividual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. medium reddish pink, well saturated, with clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
