An early 20th century gold diamond hinged bangle. Comprising circular-cut diamond asymmetric lines, with old-cut diamond terminals, to the plain half-bangle. Principal diamonds estimated total weight 1.85cts, H-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.9cms. Weight 11gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Small file scratches and associated discolouration. Small areas of discolouration, possible small repairs. Later safety clasp, broken. Diamonds fairly well matched. One principal diamond with a small, dark, eye visible inclusion under the table facet, the other principal diamond with a small nick and slight abrasion. Individual size and setting of circular-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
