An early 20th century gold diamond and enamel Royal Army Medical Corps brooch. The rose-cut diamond Rod of Asclepius, within a green enamel laurel leaf surround, to the blue enamel scroll reading 'In Arduis Fidelis', surmounted by a red enamel crown. Length 4.5cms. Weight 4.9gms.
Overall condition good. Light surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Some of the enamel deficient or chipped. Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity grade and weight assessment. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
