BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century gold diamond and cultured pearl hinged bangle. The old-cut diamond and pearl cluster, with similarly-cut diamond tapered sides, to the knife-edge bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 8.3gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. A small section has been added to the bangle near the clasp to make the circumference slightly larger. The cultured pearl has minor nacre damage. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright.
