BID ON THE-SALEROOM.COM
An early 20th century gold aquamarine pendant. The rectangular-shape aquamarine, to the openwork link and circular-shape aquamarine surmount, suspended from an integral belcher-link chain. Length of pendant 3.2cms. Length of chain 44cms. Weight 3.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. The piece has possibly been put together from early 20th century components. There are some dents and areas of discolouratiob to the original fetter links. Some soft solder visible in places and possible replacement joining links. Replacement belcher-link chain,Aquamarines light blue, weak saturation of colour, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, many visible with the unaided eye. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Barrel clasp stamped 9ct. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
