An early 20th century diamond heart locket. The rose-cut diamond floral cluster, with similarly-cut diamond foliate surround and ruby highlight, inset to the heart-shape locket and tapered surmount. Length 4.5cms. Weight 8.4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. stones are not original, possible later embellishment Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
