An early 20th century diamond, gem-set and enamel Royal Army Medical Corps brooch. The green gem and single-cut diamond Rod of Asclepius, to the rose-cut diamond laurel wreath surround and blue enamel scroll reading 'In Arduis Fidelis', surmounted by a similarly-set diamond and red enamel crown. Overall condition good. Light surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Stated total diamond weight excludes rose-cut diamonds. Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity grade and weight assessment. Noticeable discolouration to reverse. Chips and wear to blue enamel scroll. Surface abrasions to green gems. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
