BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century diamond bar brooch. The circular-cut diamond collet, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the similarly-cut diamond openwork link sides. Estimated total diamond weight 1.30ct. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.45ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 7.2cms. Weight 8.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly bright. Diamonds fairly changed. Single-cut diamonds size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen under 10x magnificaiton. Width 1.1cms.
