An early 20th century carved coral brooch. The central panel carved to depict a bacchante, within a column and carved graduated sphere surround. AF. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Length 4cms. Weight 18.3gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. The top coral panel to the brooch has cracked and broken, the loose terminal is quite loose. Dirt visible to the detail, possible glue residue visible to the back frame. Replacement pin and catch.
