An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet crescent brooch. Set throughout with graduated circular-shape garnets. Several replacement stones. Hallmarks for Chester, 1912. Length 6.7cms. Weight 4.4gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly dull. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Garnets are not well matched. The majority are replacement stones. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
