An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and peridot pendant. Of openwork design, the floral panel with oval-shape garnet and circular-shape peridot highlights, suspending a similarly-set fringe, to the garnet surmount and integral trace-link chain. Length of pendant 5.5cms. 40cms. Weight 4gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Peridot well matched yellowy green hue, significant inclusions. Garnets a well matched medium deep purple hue, well saturated, with varying clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Stamped 9ct to back of pendant.
