An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst and split pearl flower, within a knot design surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 2.2gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Replacement base metal pin. Amethyst well matched. Amethysts medium purple, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Seed pearl white, with slight pink and green overtones and fair lustre, typical surface blemishes can be seen under magnification. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Plaque to the reverse reads 9ct. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
