An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and seed pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the amethyst and seed pearl foliate motif, within a circular surround with trefoil highlights, suspending a seed pearl and pear shape amethyst. Length 5.6cms. weight 2.6gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst are fairly well matched for colour, one is slight darker in colour. Amethyst are medium to dark purple hue with good clairty Two of the pear-shape amethyst show heavy abrasion to the corner, pearls creamy white colour, with surface blemishes evidence of repair work can be seen on jump rings Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
