BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The alternating circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond line, to the tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Chester, 1905. Ring size L. Weight 3.9gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches to setting and band in keeping with general wear. Diamonds bright and lively, one with surface reaching fractures and surface nicks. Diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. Sapphires medium blue hue, well saturated with small surface abrasions.
