An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five stone ring. The alternating circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond line, to the plain band. Hallmarks for Chester, 1912. Weight 3.8gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. evidence of repair work to the shank Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphire medium blue, fairly well saturated, with poor clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
