An early 20th century 18ct gold opal ring. The oval opal cabochon graduated line, to the openwork gallery and plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1919. Ring size N. Weight 2.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Opals fairly well matched, with white body colour and fair play-of-colour showing mostly green hues. All show flat patches. One end opal possibly replacement. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
