An early 20th century 15ct gold thimble. Designed with a split pearl rim and personal engraving. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1929. Length 2.2cms Weight 5.7gms.
Overall fair to good condition, with light to moderate surface scratches and tarnishing from general wear. The dimple detail is moderately worn throughout with heavier wear to the tip. The personal inscription reads 'Rosemary April 23rd 1931. The split pearls vary in colour so are not well matched. There are three split pearls missing. There is an acid testing mark to the inside of the thimble.
