An early 20th century 15ct gold sapphire and split pearl bar brooch. Of openwork design the alternating circular-shape sapphire and split pearl line, within a plain surround. Length 6.6cms. Weight 4.5gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Sapphires and split pearls well matched Sapphires light to medium blue, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Split pearls slightly-creamy white body colour, with pink and green overtones and good lustre. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
