An early 20th century 15ct gold mother-of-pearl, diamond and demantoid garnet brooch. The oval-shape mother-of-pearl, with old-cut diamond and circular-shape demantoid garnet accent scrolling overlay and sides. Length 4cms. Weight 6.3gms.
Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Small area of discolouration, possible small repair. Wear to gem mounts. Estimated diamond weight well under 0.10ct. Size of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Demantoid garnets a well matched medium deep yellowish green hue, well saturated, with fair to good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good to fair condition with minor to moderate abrasions.
