An early 20th century 15ct gold garnet and diamond ring. The graduated oval-shape garnet line, with rose-cut diamond double spacers, to the plain band. Weight 2.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resize. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Garnets medium redish-orange, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Ring size N. Stamped 15ct. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
