BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. Designed as two pear-shape amethyst and textured leaf drops, suspended from an openwork foliate panel, with split pearl bow surmount and highlights. Length 5.2cms. Weight 3.9gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst are well matched medium hue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Several seed pearl replacements. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Stamped 15ct.
