An early 20th century 14ct gold emerald and diamond locket. Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Two replacement rectangular-shape emeralds. Emeralds medium yellowish green, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Several emeralds are significantly chipped. Possible French marks to surmount link of pendant.
