An early 19th century split pearl and hair memorial brooch. The woven hair panel with seed pearl monogram, beneath a curved glass cover, to the split pearl surround. Length 2cms. Weight 4.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Some seed pearls loose/deficient to the initials. One split pearl deficient to the surround. Possible replacement split pearls, varying colour and wear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
