An early 19th century gold agate necklace. Designed as a series of banded agate panels, with fancy-link spacers, to the banded agate push-piece clasp. Length 37cms. Weight 26.6gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Areas of discolouration to the settings and chains. Some joining links appear slightly twisted and dented. Possible replacement components. Some scratches to the agate panels. Discolouration to the tongue of the clasp.
