An Austro-Hungarian garnet and turquoise clasp. Of openwork floral design, the circular garnet cabochon, within a similarly-cut turquoise and foil-back circular-shape garnet surround. Austria Hungary marks. Three gemstones deficient. Length 3.2cms.
Overall condition poor. Significant scratches/wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Wear and discolouration to the whole piece. Three gemstones deficient. The central garnet is a replacement and does not match the outer garnets, several of the garnet inclusions are surface reaching. The turquoise vary in shade some more green and others more blue. Several collet settings are dented and damaged. Austria Hungary marks to tongue of clasp. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
