BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An aquamarine foliate necklace. The replacement oval-shape aquamarine foliate drop, suspended from a late 19th century floral openwork necklace. Necklace with French assay marks. Length of pendant 1.8cms. Length of chain 40.3cms. Weight 9.7gms.
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Aquamarine medium to pale blue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical rain inclusions. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
