BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An aquamarine and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape aquamarine, within a rose-cut diamond halo, to the stylised foliate shoulders and grooved band. Weight 5.9gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of repair/ resize. SOme replacement gems. Gems in closed back settings, presumed foil back. Diamonds fairly well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Aquamarine foil back, appears a medium very slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size N.
