BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An aquamarine and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape aquamarine, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the plain band. Approximate aquamarine dimensions: 17 by 12 by 11mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Weight 10.3gms.
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The white metal plating has worn. Band shows evidence of a resize. The aquamarine is a light blue hue, moderately saturated, with a noticeable window effect. Light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Small nicks to the surface of the stone. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Stamped 18ct. Ring size M1/2.
