BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An amethyst and seed pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst and seed pearl cluster, with fancy-shape amethyst and seed pearl quatrefoil surround, to the foliate detail. Length 4.2cms. Weight 10.4gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Amethyst medium body colour, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Amethyst are mounted in closed back settings. Stones in fair condition with light scratches and moderate abrasion to the girdle and facet edges. One amethyst significantly chipped.
