BID ON THE-SALEROOM
An amethyst and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape amethyst, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the plain band. Approximate amethyst dimensions: 20 by 15 by 10.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Weight 10.6gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Localised scratches and discolouration to the side of the band. Amethyst slightly loose in mount, but currently still secure. The amethyst is a light purple hue, moderately saturated, with light to moderate surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright. Stamped 750. Ring size K.
